On this continuum (which is how we view human health at the SFHA) you have one end called “Sick” where you have some obvious signs of sickness, typically labeled as a disease (flu, diabetes, depression, psoriasis, infection, etc). In the middle we have “Nonsick” which means you don’t have a labeled disease or overt symptoms, but you aren’t as well or healthy or optimized as you should be. On the other end we have “Health” which is where there is strong balance, full functionality, vitality, and also no dysfunction or ailments.
Our goal for all of our patients/clients is for each and every person to reach the “Health” end of the spectrum. We believe most people can still get there and we have the team in place to accomplish it.
